Will, thanks for the reminder--and the encouragement! I stepped away from a lot of public sharing when I noticed those gate-keeping tendencies in myself and now I'm slowing feeling my way back to sharing more freely.
I salute you on your journey to publish. I just pulled the trigger myself on Substack a couple of months ago and I have found it unlike any other social media platform I have used as a content creator. My experience so far has been of a very supportive community. Keep the articles coming and engage with others and it will be a lot of fun. In regards to your story, I have a similar story of an old work that found new life on the internet I'll be sharing in a post later this week. It is always strange when an old thing you thought was inferior work is surprisingly loved by some stranger a world away.
